With inspiration from japanese furniture design, traditional Nordic crafts, Swedish solid core pine, and not to forget – brutalism, Brutwork creates a combination of multidimensional Swedish core pine brutalism.
“What would happen if interior designers were offered the possibilty to choose weight in similarity to how a graphic designer do when choosing fonts to their composition? In that process the designer chooses a certain basic shape, a typeface, which then can be shaped into light, medium or bold, whichever fits the composition best.”
