Brave Eagle, a 1,000-TEU container ship built in 1985, was sold to a group of Danish investors for USD 14.5 million in 2005. At the time of the transaction, there was time-charter with MSC at USD 18,000 per day. Brave Eagle, well known for its reliable performance, was one of the few ships in its cohort, which made it through the difficult times following the global financial crises in 2008/2009. By the end of 2013, it was sold to MV Ship Traders. BS Shipping was part of the investment group, which acquired the ship in 2005.
