BSB Group Inc. is a leading player in the Philippine automotive industry and is headquartered in Metro Manila. The company can trace its humble beginnings in 1968 when the founding father, Mr. Benjamin S. Bangayan, started companies that operated as retailers of brand-new and second-hand automotive parts. BSB Junrose Auto Parts was officially born eighteen years later as a corporation, as wholesale distribution operations were added to the retail business. The Group became instrumental in keeping the commercial transport industry alive during the chaotic years of the 1980s as it was able to offer an alternative transport: reconditioned commercial vehicles. Throughout the 90s, as competition in the commercial vehicle reconditioning industry became heated, the company sought to stand out by branching into commercial vehicle remanufacturing; taking the mechanical and environmental safety concerns of vehicle users and the general public as its mission. Subsequently, it redefined the local automotive distribution industry once again by introducing "uni-level distribution" of reliable automotive parts, emphasizing quick services, quality products, and competitive prices. BSB Group continued to evolve with market requirements as it established Sobida Motors Corporation in 2006. Sobida consolidates all of BSB Group's motor vehicle operations under one name, from research and development, to assembly, to sales. Sobida's Remanufactured Trucks instantly gained a reputation for affordable quality. To date, BSB Group is streamlining its operations and peripheral interests as it strengthens even more to take advantage of its unique position in the market. BSB continues to evolve and innovate in preparation for the challenges and opportunities of the future in fulfillment of its quest to grow into a bigger and better company.
