The Belgian Society of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology (BSPHO) was founded in 1996 as a collaboration between professionals of the recognized Belgian centers in paediatric haemato-oncology to share expertise and knowledge to improve treatment of childhood cancer and patient care. Our Main Goals Are : - To provide the same international standardized high-quality care for all children and adolescents with cancer treated in Belgium - To encourage collaboration between experts in paediatric haemato-oncology at national and international level - To advance knowledge of paediatric haematology and oncology by sharing expertise between the recognized paediatric haemato-oncology centers in Belgium - To take part in international clinical trials and research projects in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with cancer - To support education and meetings at the universities and institutes in Belgium and abroad - To promote clinical and fundamental scientific research in the field of paediatric haematology and oncology
