Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA)

Bangladesh Solar and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) is the largest association of business houses and NGOs working for promoting the clean energy industry in Bangladesh. It is a non-profit organization established in 2011. Currently, it has 150 active members and 21 executive members. BSREA's main partner is Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. BSREA also collaborates with other ministries such as Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce. Among various institutions in renewable energy sector, BSREA is actively involved with Bangladesh Bank (Central bank of Bangladesh), Sustainable & Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), Power Cell, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL).
