Budavári Schönherz Stúdió

Budavári Schönherz Stúdió (shortly BSS) is Hungary's biggest and best equipped television studio operated only by university students. It is located in the Schönherz Dormitory and part of the Simonyi Károly Collage for Advanced Studies which belongs to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Since the 1962 foundation of the studio many broadcast professionals have started their careers here, at BSS. Our most important tasks are capturing and/or live streaming events of the dormitory and the faculty, as well as organizing educational activities, continuously improving the quality of our productions. We make live streams, create videos, and we produce a live talk-show on each Thursday of the semester. This show is usually an hour long, with 3-4 different guests, and segments covering a variation of topics from the current news to the life and events at the university.
