I design and engineer transmissions from the ground up in the areas of: - planetary design - layshaft design - with power splitting and merging system with: - synchronizers - dog clutches - dry clutches - wet clutches - hydrostats - doubles clutches - torque converters in the application areas of: - bus transmission - truck transmission - passenerger car transmission - train transmission - tractor transmission - motorbike transmission - stationary equipment - truck axles - transfer cases - hydraulic systems - parking brakes I design transmission systems from scratch, including the individual part with part design, as well as parts list, time schedules; and manage supplier and customer interfaces. Typical CAD softwares I work with are: - AutoCAD - Autodesk Inventor - ProEngineer Wildfire - CATIA V5, ... others can be learned I do bearing calculations, shaft calculations, gear layout and calculations. I also have experience with designing hydrostatic and hybrid transmissions.
