Welcome to Buffalo Kloof! A 20 000 hectare conservancy in South Africas beautiful malaria free Eastern Cape. Born in 1999 with a vision to re-wild the Kowie River thicket, Buffalo Kloof is now home to diverse fauna and flora. With 14 bedrooms on the property, only a handful of guests are invited to experience Buffalo Kloof at any one time. Two intimate camps on the conservancy offer a taste of true South African hospitality. One can choose from a myriad of activities on offer to enjoy, explore, educate and indulge. The exclusive nature of the property means you won’t encounter any other guests during your stay with us. In visiting Buffalo Kloof, every guest contributes to safeguarding of our wilderness in the future. Our conservation philosophy is holistic in its vision.
