Boston University Financial Modeling Club (BUFMC) is designed to be a team-oriented and fun learning experience. Welcoming all that are interested in developing their financial modeling expertise and excel skills, BUFMC is open to any Boston University student.
Whether the student is a freshman struggling with the SM132 assignment or a senior looking to refine their skills before entering the corporate post-grad world, BUFMC offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity, all while building a community.
Initially, the goal for club members was to get familiarized with basic excel skills essential in the job market. Mentoring them with relevant, real-world examples obtained either from our skilled advisors or the Bloomberg Database, we strive to give every club member a competitive advantage when they enter their classes, internships or careers. The long term goal of the club is to make every member the dream future employee and continue to create a culture of excellence.
