CodePlay is a STEAM-focused extracurricular school dedicated to K–12 students, specializing in hands-on education in Coding, Game Development, Robotics, Electronics, Mechanics, and Engineering. As a dynamic after-school program, we are committed to equipping children with essential 21st-century skills through creativity, technology, and play-based learning. We introduce young learners to programming through colorful, block-based environments that encourage visual logic, creativity, and storytelling. This helps them build a strong foundation in computational thinking while expressing themselves through simple games and animations. Students engage with immersive 3D worlds where they can build, explore, and solve problems while learning to code. These environments encourage collaboration, experimentation, and hands-on application of STEM concepts through project-based challenges and activities. Older learners are guided into cinematic 3D design experiences where they create their own interactive environments using professional-level tools. These projects foster design thinking, spatial awareness, and creative storytelling within dynamic digital landscapes. For those ready to go further, students learn real coding skills by developing fully functional games and simulations. Through scripting, logic building, and game publishing, they gain practical experience in programming while also developing entrepreneurial and critical thinking skills. Through robotics, electronics, and mechanical engineering projects, students learn how to build and program physical devices using sensors, motors, and circuits. These activities strengthen their understanding of systems thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering principles. In platforms like Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite Creative, students master skills such as game mechanics design, 3D modeling, environmental storytelling, visual effects, animation, collaborative development, and interactive gameplay logic.
