Are our Youth Job-Ready to lead the New India? In the current scenario, education has become more challenging. It is not merely getting a degree, but it is imperative to upgrade the skills, knowledge and enlarge the network. Hence, there is a need for value and skill-based education and training. As per India Skills Report 2021, the employability of India’s youth, despite having degrees, has decreased to 45.9%, with the percentage of highest employable talent in the age group of 18-21 years old, at 40% only, that is, at least one of the two graduates is not ready for the job market.
