Building Connections

Building Connections was initiated and led by the Hungarian-owned Regon Csoport and magyarepitok.hu in 2019 as a forum for the media of the construction industry in Europe at large, with a primary focus on Central and South-Eastern Europe. Representatives from nine media outlets in seven countries, from Austria to Bulgaria, participated in its creation and its aim today remains to provide relevant and informative news to both the general public and the construction industry profession. It presents itself as an accurate, value-based, reliable and positive source of information, filling a gap in the media landscape left by media products that are unfamiliar with the construction industry and therefore often incomplete or one-sided. After an initial period based mainly on networking and the creation of information channels, and also as a result of the Covid scare, Building Connections is now a construction news portal and news agency in five languages (Hungarian, English, German, Polish, Romanian), currently focusing mainly on the activities of multinational construction companies in the region, in addition to news from Hungary. In cooperation with magyarepitok.hu, buildingconnections.eu provides its readers with photojournalism (and a photo webshop), fresh construction news, exclusive coverage of the most spectacular construction projects, detailed background information, video content unique in the market and interviews with industry experts.
