“Realising your potential through inspired learning” The Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC) is a revolutionary, purpose built training facility designed to help you get the most out of your team. As one of three of its kind in the world it is the only facility in the Southern Hemisphere. The first centre being the Building Management Simulation Centre (BMSC) located in Leeuwarden Netherlands. The second centre established was the Advanced Construction Technologies Simulation Centre (ACT-UK) in Coventry, UK. By definition, simulation learning involves immersion of a participant in a realistic situation (scenario) created within a physical space (simulator), that replicates a real environment. With this in mind, the ethos at the BLSC is simple: we learn by doing. With over 50 courses developed, 250+ scenarios, specialist actors and trained observers the facility uses 12 industry site sheds and a 15m parabolic screen to deliver a model of experiential learning, which has proven to have a far greater impact than traditional training methods.
