Building Preservation Material Technologies (BPMT) is a technical service provider geared towards the repair and retrofit of structures both in Puerto Rico and internationally. Since its founding our firm has dedicated itself to finding solutions geared to reduce the lifecycle costs for the client while maintaining and improving the structural integrity of the buildings and structures we tend to. The scope of our experience extends over a wide range of issues such as moisture control in existing buildings, waterproofing and repair waterproofing, injection grouting of cementitious as well as polymer rubber materials, coating application for densification and moisture control, structural injection via epoxy resins to structural elements, façade repairs, slab jacking, as well as structural retrofits via the use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers.
Our team of engineers and Project Managers include personnel from the structural and civil engineering fields as well as construction managers and drafters. Our approach to all projects always includes an initial engineering assessment, followed by the design of a proper solution to project execution. Among our distinguished clientele are included some of the largest banks and hospitals in Puerto Rico as well as government entities such as the Electric Power Authority. Our international clientele includes government as well as private entities in South and Central America.
We also pride ourselves also in actively participating as speakers in seminars for the Puerto Rico College of Engineers as well as other entities such as ACI International and the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI). Our President and founder was also the founder of the local chapter of ICRI. Our most recent seminars have been presented in US, Puerto Rico, Panamá, Costa Rica, and Colombia....
