About NUS Building Robotics Lab

We are a multidisciplinary research group in the Department of the Built Environment at the National University of Singapore focusing on smart buildings, building robotics, human-centered AI, building energy efficiency, human-building interaction, building simulation, thermal comfort, and IEQ. Our mission centers around the ambition to integrate robotics and human-centered AI into the built environment in an effort to improve buildings' energy efficiency and occupant well-being through the development of state-of-the-art sensing, learning, and control systems. We are a diverse group of individuals from a multitude of academic backgrounds and cultures who are passionate about exploring new ideas and experimenting with practical solutions that can be readily implemented in real-world scenarios. Through this approach that encourages creativity and innovation, our goal is to create a sustainable future by leveraging cutting-edge technologies for smart buildings that prioritize environmental sustainability and improve the human experience.
