About Building facadE performancE Lab

BEE Lab is firstly made by people, young and experienced scientists, with strong background in Building Architectural Engineering, who collaborate as a unique, but multisite team on different activities: research, teaching and dissemination. BEE Lab is also made by infrastructure (BEEpilot), tools and instruments for applied research performed in strict collaboration with construction stakeholders to support the technological transfer into the market with the final aim to boost the decarbonization of the built environment on the following main topics. 1. Development and analysis of building technology and construction system. 2. Building simulation at different scale and details (i.e. urban modelling, performance analysis). 3. Development and testing of new smart materials for the built environment. 4. Human centered design through comfort analysis and occupancy behavior investigation.
