Buildings 2030

Buildings 2030 is a leadership initiative demonstrating tangible commitment to improve the energy performance of non-residential building portfolios in Europe. The initiative targets CEOs and major building portfolio owners and occupiers to recognise their existing efforts and encourage an even stronger commitment to a meaningful reduction in building energy use by 2030 that is in line with the ambition set out by the COP 21 Paris Agreement. Buildings 2030 aims to generate confidence and a growing sense of momentum that the sector is willing to invest in improved energy performance under the right market and policy conditions. The initiative will showcase the replicability of high-profile projects and their positive impact on energy savings and greenhouse gas emission reductions. More importantly, it will work collaboratively with strategic partners to promote the use of indicators for the indirect benefits that accrue from energy efficiency investments and their value to employers and employees.
