The goal of BuildUSA is to position itself as a leading solution provider to the building industry through integrated product development, project collaboration, consulting, and branded, high–performance, sustainable optimized buildings. The “Prototype Initiative (PI)” is a business strategy focused on developing a set of interdisciplinary solutions for the building industry to create a branded process that consistently provides: “High Quality,” “High Performing” buildings with “Shorter Delivery” times and “Lower Costs.” It is comprised of three core strategies: 1. Research: Applied research into building products and systems. 2. Process: Development of industry recognized Standards, Templates, and Workflows. 3. Execution: Development, construction, and monitored maintenance of optimized building.
