As the proprietor of Bunkar Craft, I, Shilpraj Dewangan, established our business on April 2nd, 2009, with a focus on offering a vast array of high-quality products at our store.
The production of kosa silk is the primary livelihood for many villages in the nearby district, particularly those within the Dewangan community. As such, many have started running units for producing silk sarees and dress materials for exportation. Our name, Bunkar Craft, translates to "weaver" and "craft," which is precisely what we do.
Our mission at Bunkar Craft is not only to provide our customers with exceptional quality kosa silk products but also to bring awareness to the stories and masterful designs behind each piece. Our weavers and block printers are highly trained professionals who create stunning kosa silk sarees, suits, dupattas, and more.
