Bureau69 architects is a small sized architecture and interior design studio based in Sicily with a portfolio of projects delivered in Italy and abroad.
The studio was founded in Catania in 2000 by Massimiliano Strano, an architect registered in Italy, registered with the Professional Association of Catania, and Chartered Architect in the United Kingdom at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
The desire to maintain a small size and an artisanal approach to architecture over time has allowed us to diversify our business, operate in various contexts and countries, and build a network of collaborations that have allowed us to carry out projects in Italy, Spain, Brazil and the United Kingdom.
Even today, working individually or in association with other professionals, the studio is able to offer a complete service of architectural design, construction management and project management, for new construction and renovation projects.
Our projects have been awarded and exhibited in Italy and abroad, recognized for the high level of detail and uniqueness of the language.
Bureau69 architects operates with a forward-thinking approach focused on quality design, driven by a strong passion for architectural detail, and interior craftsmanship. We promote contemporary and functional design, as well as supporting responsible architecture based on a truly sustainable approach, low-energy buildings and natural materials.
Max Strano is also a Passivhaus (Passive House) designer and collaborates with Zephir PassivHaus Italia.
With considerable international experience, the studio offers assistance to foreign investors for the realization of their projects in Sicily, supporting them in the entire process of technical and economic feasibility analysis, obtaining authorizations, design, construction supervision and project management.
