Burnsi creative is a production company owned and operated by Mike Burns, a Miami native with Venezuelan roots, who moved to Los Angeles in 1998. He has been a creative tour de force in both the film and music industries for the past 20 years.. Mike entered the scene producing music for Electronic Music Dj's in the early 2000's and received a Grammy Nomination in 2005 for his contribution as a songwriter and producer on the Album, "Creamfields", by artist and DJ, Paul Oakenfold . He went on to score the theme song and show music for two shows for ESPN's . "Rome Is Burning", and "Beg Borrow and Deal"
Mike's career segued into films as a video producer and director of "The Making Of" documentary content for film studios and production companies. Mike's passion for music and his drive to incorporate music into feature films led him into music supervision where he has worked on 35 films released through studios like Lionsgate Entertainment. and Vertical Entertainment.
In 2014 Mike was brought on as President of Baker Entertainment, an independent film company based on the Paramount Pictures lot where he developed and produce the film "Inconceivable" starring Nicholas Cage.
In 2015, he was hired by best-selling spiritual author and 2020 Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson as head of the production for her online company, Marianne.com where he has produced her video and audio content for 5 years as a passion project that feeds his soul.
After Marianne Williamson's relocation to the east coast in 2016, Mike was hired as Director of Branded Content for Wanderlust , a Yoga lifestyle brand and digital agency where he developed and launched their VOD platform, "Wanderlust TV" and shot numerous video campaigns for their clients.
In 2018 Mike launched Burnsi Creative, as a full-service production company after having produced, directed, and edited content for clients that include Ford Motors, Adidas, Tropicana, Revlon, FLOW alkaline water, and more
