Burst The Bubble

In many contexts, including at Cambridge, the all-encompassing BAME label is used to mask inequalities between different ethnic groups, and hide the differences between communities who hold distinct identities and experience unique forms of oppression. Despite this, BAME in Britain are united in their label as ‘Other’. Burst The Bubble aims not only to address the inequalities many face, but create a space that allows us to learn, share and educate. Made up of articles and live events run by students, we cover a range of issues, from personal experiences at Cambridge, to the events affecting BAME communities in Britain and the world. Burst The Bubble is a platform for students who might feel isolated in Cambridge to reclaim their difference with purpose.
