The BMIP is a study conducted by the School of Business and Governance of the Tallinn University of Technology. The study is part of an academic research aiming to analyze the digital transformation, and the business model innovation within the industry 4.0, and how the innovation and business strategy influence on that transformation. There are three main objectives that it attempts to reach:
1. To understand business model innovation and transformation within the industry 4.0.
2. To assess the innovation success, strategic decision-making effectiveness, and digital transformation of business models.
3. To develop a managerial tool to improve business models in order to enhance competitiveness and business performance.
