Business Takeout | Recognizing Black Wealth Through Business Education Business Takeout is a social enterprise that provides business education and business resources such as business blogs, podcast, technology reviews, and networking/workshop events. Our mission is to end poverty in Canadian black communities through empowerment, business education, employment and entrepreneurship. Business Takeout started in 2018 as a Facebook group after recognizing a strong need for business education and business mentorship as way to increase wealth in black communities throughout Canada. With almost 3,000 members today in our Facebook Group, Business Takeout has grown to be a strong advocate for improving black owned businesses in Canada by providing ongoing business resources and daily discussions to keep black entrepreneurs inspired and striving for success. In light of the 2020 global events, Business Takeout is taking business education a step further by offering entrepreneurship courses to at risk black youths. Business Takeout is striving to comprehensive business development initiative to re-connect “high-risk” out-of-school and/or adjudicated youth between the ages of 16 to 21 years old, with education through virtual learning and hands on experience. The programs, along with our partners, delivers the academic, career exploration and personal development acumen that are prerequisites to launching successful careers and business ventures. We believe, these areas in our communities are most critical and it’s best we focus our efforts here to ensure we’re making a positive difference
