Boston University Singapore Students Association

BU Singapore Students Association, or BUSSA, is a club entirely run by students at Boston University. Our goal is to provide a supportive community and network for BU students from or interested in Singapore. We organize social and cultural events that give students opportunities to make friends, eat Singaporean food, and learn about our country! Largely run by international students, our goal is to allow students from Singapore to feel welcome at BU and provide them with a supportive community miles away from home. At the same time, our membership and events are open to anyone in the BU community, and we take pride in sharing about our culture abroad and helping others learn about Singapore. BUSSA has over 100 current members and 13 executive board members. Founded in 2010, BUSSA has grown tremendously over the years. We collaborate with other college Singaporean student associations in the Boston area and other Asian student organizations at BU. Our events range from small game nights in classrooms, to hot pot dinners during Chinese New Year, to huge South East Asian collaborative cultural events. Join the BUSSA family!
