Butler Analytics was founded by Martin Butler, best known as founder of Butler Group – Europe’s largest indigenous IT analyst firm until its acquisition by Datamonitor in 2005. He has spoken at hundreds of conferences, advised many of the world’s largest corporations, written numerous reports and been featured in various business and technology magazines. The style is always direct and to the point and fiercely independent of supplier influence. You will find no sponsored ‘white papers’ or webinars, just unbiased analysis of suppliers, technologies, methods and strategy. Style Because suppliers do not, and cannot pay to get their products reviewed we are free to say it as it is. This often means that high profile, popular suppliers and products might not fare all that well. It is a truism in the IT markets that superior sales and marketing will always trump superior products and services.
