BVM Alumni Association

BVM Alumni Association is one of the largest Alumni Association. It was established in the year 1962 and registered under the Society act in July 1972. It consists of more than 20,000 alumnus from year 1951 onwards which was the first batch of BVM Engineering College. The primary mission of BVM Alumni is to reconnect the alumni with their fellow alumni, institute, and students on the campus- engage through various activities among all the stakeholders- generate impact through several social and academic projects for collective growth. The Association inherits a culture of excellence, professionalism left behind by its visionary founders since inception, to forge a sustained link between its members and the Alma Mater joining hands together in the cause of fostering and enhancing academic pursuits. BVM Alumni Association supports towards the infrastructure development of the institute like upgradation of buildings, classrooms, laboratories, etc. It offers prizes, gold medals, awards as an appreciation to the students. Also, it offers different types of scholarship including loan scholarship for the needy or bright students. BVM Alumni Association hosts a fresher and farewell functions for the students to make life more vibrant and joyful. The association hosts Alumni Get together events. The BVM Alumni Association has a good membership strength, spread across the globe; many of whom occupying prestigious positions in the premier Universities, National Laboratories, ISRO, Government & Defense Establishments, and MNCs etc. Many of our members are successful industrialists and entrepreneurs in the country, adding impetus to the growth of economy. It has two types of publications – 1. Annual Reports and 2. Newsletters which contains all the activities conducted during the particular year with the purpose to connect more and more alumni.
