bwt was founded in 2011 by British designer, Ben Thompson. Ben has over fifteen years’ experience within the high-end residential and hospitality sectors, including 5 years as Studio Director at Studioilse.
Most recognised for designing the award-winning hotel Heckfield Place, the growing team is quietly delivering a diverse range of projects across the globe. bwt is particularly adept at understanding and reinvigorating rural estates; re-establishing or reinventing existing buildings as an important part of the process.
bwt’s signature aesthetic is one of understated elegance and effortless design, resulting in a lightness of impact that subtly speaks of the people and places at the core of the projects.
