PT China Harbour Indonesia (CHI) is subsidiary of China Harbour Engineering Company Limited (CHEC). China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.(CHEC) was established in the 1980s. As a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Ltd.(CCCC) - a Global Fortune 500 company, it explores the overseas market on behalf of the CCCC. As of 2023, CHEC's more than 90 branches (subsidiaries) and representative offices around the world presently conduct business in over 100 countries and regions with more than 20,000 employees undertaking hundreds of international projects whose total contract amount is over USD 40 billion. CHEC represented by CHI was nominated as lead subsidiary on behalf of CCCC managing and coordinating CCCC group's business in Indonesia. Until 2024 CHI has completed more than 80 projects in Indonesia and its accumulated contract amount is over USD 2.8 billion.
