Bytes for Heroes

We’re on a mission to feed over 1,000,000 NHS Heroes. It all started with a question “How can we help?”. The three founding brothers from The Jolly Hog (Olly Kohn, Max Kohn and Josh Kohn) loaded up one of their catering trucks and headed off to Bristol Southmead Hospital with one goal. feeding our NHS heroes for free. The Jolly Hog team handed out over 600 hog roasts and hot dogs to exhausted NHS workers and pledged to do more. Having been a longtime friend of The Jolly Hog team, Peter Rossi from InfoSaaS wondered “Could I use my technology contacts to get companies to fund catering businesses across the whole of the UK feeding our NHS heroes?” and Bytes for Heroes was born. The premise is simple, we’re bringing together two completely different industries: - Catering firms - that have the capability to provide food to our exhausted NHS workers, but are unable to due to funding problems. - Technology firms - that want to help the NHS in a direct and tangible way, but don’t have a route to do so. We’re asking UK Technology firms to donate their marketing, CSR or charitable budgets to our cause and we’ll manage the logistics of getting food to our over-worked heroes!
