Here at BYU Mars Rover, crafting a competition ready rover gives BYU capstone students hands-on experience, leadership opportunities, and communication skills. Capstone students lead the charge with faculty guidance. Our dynamic team is composed of software, mechanical, electrical, and science enthusiasts with an engineering background. Our skills combine to form a rover ready for the University Rover Challenge equipped with a cutting-edge life detection system, advanced 6 degree of freedom SCARA robot arm, and software system enabling autonomous task completion.
