CARES mission is to:
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to improve the lives and independence of children and adults and their families with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, including Autism and/or Behavioral Health issues, mental health concerns, across the lifespan from birth through adulthood.
- Conduct ongoing research to evaluate the efficacy of intervention methods and inform best practice with data driven results.
-Help families, in particular, from underserved multilingual communities obtain information resources and services.
-Train community members and professionals to effectively support individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities including Autism, Behavioral Health concerns and/or Mental Health issues.
