C-Bond Systems develops nanotechnology solutions that strengthen and improve glass. Our strong intellectual property portfolio was co-developed with experts at Rice University. Our solutions enable glass to dissipate energy using nanotechnology to locate and repair the microscopic surface defects that weaken glass. Using our robust IP portfolio, we are able to apply our technology platform across multiple vertical applications. C-Bond BRS (ballistic-resistant system) is applied to existing windows to increase the structural integrity of glass and make it ballistic-resistant. It is validated to provide National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Level I, Level II and Underwriter Laboratories (UL) 752 ballistic-resistant protection. Primary markets for C-Bond BRS include, but are not limited to, Education, Media, Government, Commercial & Industrial, and Banking. We also produce C-Bond NanoShield™, a patented, award-winning, spray-on windshield strengthener that deters chip and crack damage while enhancing overall driving visibility. C-Bond NanoShield is available with and without a hydrophobic (water repellent).
