C Building is a supplier/distributor of R Stud, the best and most sustainable steel stud in the world used for commercial construction buildings. Utilizing the R-Stud can provide: · 22%-90% reduction in sound transfer – R-Stud achieves higher Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings than any other stud. Depending on the wall assemblies, some STC improvements can be much larger than others. But as a standard test, we score 9 points higher than our closest competitor with just one layer of 5/8 gypsum on each side (Testing - Intertek's ASTME90 and others). · 30% reduction in labor/material costs – The substantially increased STC rating that R-Stud provides essentially eliminates the need for extra layers of gypsum boards and resilient channels, both factors effectively saving time while requiring less materials and less labor for installation. Thanks to the revolutionary design of the R-Stud, it's supplemental flanges every foot greatly increase the strength of the stud while also making it a lighter stud. This allows for faster installation and more spacing between studs (IBC compliant), effectively requiring less materials and less labor for installation. Additionally, R-Stud's larger openings also speed up the installation of utility lines and requires less labor. · 40% reduction in thermal bridging – This is driven by the unique design with less material that reduces the points where sound and thermals can transfer; resulting in higher R values, energy savings, and a more sustainable product for the environment.
