Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Agriculture and Farm Excellence (C-SAFE)

C-SAFE (Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Agriculture & Farm Excellence) was launched to celebrate the 150 years of Tata Group. The activities which commenced in 2019 under C-SAFE are aimed towards a singular goal - to experiment, pilot, establish and advocate SAFE models for driving value, safe environment, safe food creation. The focus of every C-SAFE intervention is on the farmer, though consumers, being the other end of the value chain, are also covered so that there is thorough understanding of the demand side and maximum returns are facilitated for the farmers. To achieve this, every program under C-SAFE aims at unlocking opportunities in the agri value chain in a manner that it benefits all the stakeholders in the agri value chain. C-SAFE focuses in enhancing value particularly for small and marginal farmers.
