C-SQUARED was born out of the Covid-19 frustration. It was disheartening to see so many small businesses going out of business, in most cases – permanently, just like The Thanos Snap. Ironically, more businesses thrived whilst others perished. We could not help but ask this million dollar question: what have those business owners done right? The most common ingredient in the winners’ recipe seems to be – they stepped up their digital game! Now or never, period. The market is inundated with one-size-fits-all digital solutions, because why not? They ‘have to’ to scale for the dough, thus, the long-tail 80/20 rule only takes their efforts this far. However, no two business processes are the same. C-SQUARED draws inspiration from the by-and-large market trends and tailor-cut solutions for small and medium businesses in (less-disrupted) markets where leveraging digitisation can potentially open up a blue ocean. We help establish the first-mover advantage along this full-service transformative journey. We adopt a design thinking approach focusing on our clients’ goals and create future-proof business models by subtly weaving ESG and positive impact into the products and services. One tough lesson that everyone learned the hardest way was – always diversify your offerings. The by-far easiest thing to diversify is geography. We take pride in our expertise in both China and the West. Those who know more about China cannot compete with us in the West, and those who know more about the West run behind us in China. Well, those who are better in both are chasing after big fishes.
