C.W. Obel A/S

C.W. Obel A/S is an investment company with a long history of investments and active ownership in Danish companies. The history of C.W. Obel A/S dates back to 1787 and today the company is fully owned by The Obel Family Foundation. C.W. Obel A/S owns 100% of the real estate company, C.W. Obel Ejendomme A/S, through which all real estate investments are made. C.W. Obel A/S continuously makes new direct investments focusing on good and healthy companies where C.W. Obel A/S can enter into a loyal and long-term partnership with the other owners as well as management. C.W. Obel A/S actively assists in the companies' future value creation through additional growth capital and on-going strategic sparring with the companies' stakeholders – for example in connection with succession planning, geographical expansion or the establishment of new activities. In addition to these strategic allocations, C.W. Obel A/S provides capital commitments to selected Danish and foreign Private Equity and Venture Capital funds as well as manages a liquid asset portfolio.
