C3 Cares provides nurse-led, place-based, and mobile health clinics in Washington, D.C.’s public and affordable housing communities. Founded by Dr. Erin Athey, a clinician and community health leader, C3 Cares focuses on rebuilding trust in healthcare through accessible, patient-centered care.
Through support from the D.C. Housing Authority (DCHA), our clinics operate in Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8, offering same-day appointments, Telehealth, and vaccination pop-ups. Each site is led by a nurse practitioner and supported by medical professionals dedicated to promoting wellness and reducing health disparities.
