The C3S LLC was founded in 2012 by four developers of the first Hungarian satellite, Masat-1. The aim of the company is to develop new technologies for small satellites, develop and build system components for CubeSats, and ground stations. The members have hands-on experience on designing both on-board and ground station electronics, performing various environmental and reliability tests, and also on system engineering and project management. The company also takes part in the education of satellite technology. The main reference of the team is the Masat-1 (MO-72) education satellite, which was launched in February 2012, and functions properly from the start.
