About Center for Applied Behavior Systems

The Center for Applied Behavior Systems (CABS) is located in Williams 202, the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech. The Center is led by Dr. E. Scott Geller two to four graduate students, one coordinator, and Dr. Erica Feurenbacher-- a faculty member in the Department of Animal Science. Each semester 20 to 50 undergraduate students learn how to conduct research that combines the technology of applied behavioral science with theories from experimental, social, and applied psychology. Our research not only provides opportunities for real-world experiential learning, but it also works toward improving human welfare and life satisfaction in organizations and throughout communities.
