CABU is a product design studio based in Amsterdam, founded in 2024 by Julia Sijm. Rooted in a passion for creation, experimentation, and collaboration, CABU builds brands, products, and experiences. From home objects to wearables, our work spans product, furniture, spatial, and fashion design — always with a focus on form, function, and creative expression. CABU is more than a studio — it’s a growing world built by and for creatives. We collaborate with both emerging and established brands on the development of products and collections — from early concept to production. Collaboration is central to how we work. Whether through design, materials, or process, we act as your creative partner: contributing ideas, challenging directions, and building together. Our core focus is product design and development — from concept creation and design direction to prototyping and production support. We also work across related areas like branding, packaging, and visual communication. This integrated approach ensures consistency across product and brand.
