Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas is a non-profit agency that coordinates the investigation and prosecution of severe child abuse cases (severe physical abuse, child sexual abuse, and witnesses to violence) for law enforcement and the Department of Family & Protective Services. We also work with the District Attorney’s Office and medical professionals to provide a full range of wraparound services.
The Advocacy Center also provides family advocacy and counseling services to the children and their family members including food and clothing assistance; Back to School, and Christmas assistance; case updates and filing for Crime Victims Compensation and VINE; and evidence-based, trauma-informed individual counseling, group counseling, and play therapy - all completely free of charge to the family.
