Cactus Robotics

Cactus Robotics was legally founded in Alicante, Spain, in March 2016 by Luis Rodenas. We say legally because we started developing Droiko back in February 2015, but it wasn't until we got our 4th Droiko fully functional prototype in January 2016 that we confirmed it was ready for production and for the final user, and that it was so much fun playing with it. Only then we decided to create the company and start the Kickstarter campaign. As a company we believe and follow a honest, transparent and communicative business model. We believe in open source products, and we believe that transparency is a must nowadays, even more when we are asking people to invest and trust us, so we will make available every detail about our company, from accountability to decision making or external contracts and partnerships. If there is something you would like to know about our company or products, just ask us, if we know the answer we give it to you, if not, we tell you we don't know, that simple. We really care for social commitment, and that's why we are offering very flexible, fair job conditions to young talented motivated people. We also believe that technology and coding should be better taught at schools, so that is why we look for learning goals in our products and we plan to do robotics courses for all ages.
