In 2005 brothers Francesco and Alessio Buompane founded Caffè Latino to find the perfect blend. A project that starts in Italy with the intention of finding, selecting and offering the best coffee to an audience truly dedicated to Espresso, but with the desire to get something more out of their daily ritual. Caffè Latino succeeds in a short time to establish itself among the general public as well as in the small cafeterias and in the retail, offering sophisticated and innovative blends. After solidifying roots and experience, in 2017 Caffè Latino decided to branch out on international market by choosing London as the first city. London, which has always been considered the scale representation of the world with its melting pot of societies, cultures and flavours, represented the perfect challenge for the Buompanes where to propose a selective coffee carte. Thanks to the strong collaboration with the Italian Espresso Institute, for which it becomes a quality ambassador for the United Kingdom, Caffè Latino becomes the first coffee shop in London to offer three certified blends produced by renowned roasting companies: the ‘Genovese’ of Albenga, the ‘Caffen’ of Naples, and the ‘Saturn' of Alessandria. Now Caffè Latino offers the best coffee in just one place both in the three direct managed cafeterias, the ‘44 Coffee’ at 44 Tower Bridge Road, at the ‘Mercato Metropolitano’ at Elephant & Castle and at the ‘Fora Borough’, and in some selected London restaurants and independent coffee shops located in some of the most exclusive London boroughs Because like in Italy, everyone has their own way of enjoying an Espresso: in the north, center and south.
