Astronomy Club of São Carlos Institute of Physics

The Astronomy Club of São Carlos Institute of Physics (CAIFSC) was created in 2017 with the purpose of discussing astronomy issues and related areas and promoting scientific dissemination to the public outside the University through lectures, workshops, field visits to observation of the night sky, podcast and social media. The group is divided into participation members, who participate in activities actively or passively, and organization members, who promote the events, manage the group, social media, finances and people. CAIFSC is open to anyone interested in learning and teaching astronomy to audiences of different age groups and levels of education, who are committed and responsible with their duties and always seek to learn more!
