CAi - Engineering Student Council UC Chile

The Engineering Student Council (CAi) is an institution founded in 1904 with the purpose of representing the students of the School of Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With over 110 years of history, it has been led by outstanding engineers, becoming an influential entity in multiple historical processes within the University. Among its main responsibilities are political representation and contributing to the holistic development of future engineers. It is worth noting that throughout the years, CAi has served as a platform from which various social and technological ventures have emerged. VISION We are a group of students with diverse perspectives and political orientations, united by a common goal: to create a School of Engineering where all members feel part of a united and engaged community. To achieve this, we focus on projects that promote comprehensive engineering education, addressing topics such as inclusion, diversity, social responsibility, innovation, and entrepreneurship. As students, we play a formative role among our peers that complements academic teaching, ensuring that as a School, we work together to solve society’s challenges and drive transformation.
