Cairndene, founded in 2003, is a marine engineering and project management consultancy based in the north east of Scotland. Under the direction of Cameron Lawson, Cairndene’s engineering division provide bespoke, innovative and cost-effective products for the marine environment. These products must be designed to be robust, reliable and sustainable if they are to meet the numerous challenges encountered when working in hostile offshore conditions. The projects division, led by Georgia Brown, delivers advice and support in project management and project control techniques. In particular, the analysis of project data leading to increased efficiencies across our clients’ overall businesses. By bringing together the three key aspects of theory and principles, Primavera and the unique elements of each client’s operation, Cairndene is able to provide specifically tailored support packages. Innovation is the key for both divisions, in all aspects of our business: from problem identification through generation of solutions to delivery of the finished product. Applying our hard-won experience, Cairndene is able to be responsive and to think laterally and to take their existing ideas and adapt them to solve a new problem in a different industry.
