With a rich history and a proven track record, CITD has been a driving force in the facilitation of over 180 agricultural trade missions. These missions, conducted in collaboration with the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association, the USDA Foreign Agricultural Services, the California Governor’s Office, and other special grant projects, have been instrumental in training more than 7,000 companies to effectively market California’s diverse food and agricultural products in foreign markets. The tangible impact of our efforts is reflected in impressive economic outcomes, including over $100 million in direct export sales and an additional $750 million in continuous export sales attributed to CITD’s trade activities since 1989. Our commitment to excellence has garnered recognition, with CITD proudly receiving prestigious awards such as the President’s “E Award” for Export Excellence in both 2001 and 2013.
