Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Michelle Mangano After working in the corporate world in various capacities, Michelle decided it was time to redirect her energy to helping others to reduce and eliminate stress: she began taking classes at CalCopa Massage School. Being a skilled trainer, she quickly was hired on as an instructor and Dean of Teachers at the school. In 2006, she and her business partner, Emily Cohen, took ownership of the school. They put their hearts into teaching and graduating top quality massage therapists. In 2017, Emily left CalCopa to continue her studies of chemistry of the body. Meanwhile, Michelle gave the facilities a fabulous new makeover and promoted Celina Sahagún to Director. The two regularly review the needs of the massage industry and adapt the Calcopa experience and curriculum to best prepare the students to meet and exceed those market needs. Outside
