Calculus Software is een advies en automatiseringsbureau opgericht op 1 juli 1991. Sinds 2003 brengt Calculus het Verzekerden Informatie Pakket (VIP) op de markt. Sinds 2007 worden (GEZ) zorggroepen ondersteund. Centraal in de dienstverlening van Calculus staat het nieuw ontwikkelde online communicatie- en declaratieplatform VIPLive. Op VIPLive zijn eind 2019 ruim 5.000 huisartspraktijken in totaal aangesloten. Dit platform dient als declaratietool maar ook als management tool en als communicatiemiddel tussen huisartsen, ketenpartners en zorggroepen. Hiertoe heeft het koppelingen met belangrijke partijen in de huisartsenzorg zoals Proigia, de HISsen, de KISsen, accountants en boekhoudpakketten. De helft van alle huisartspraktijken in Nederland declareert via VIP waarbij het geld gewoon op de eigen rekening komt. Meer dan 80% van alle zorggroepen verwerkt haar declaraties via VIPLive zelf of via onze declaratieservice. Calculus is onderdeel van Topicus Groep (zie www.topicus.nl).
